How to Get Involved

Are you interested in learning more about upcoming events, lectures, and exhibits? Do you have historical expertise, community insight, or teaching experience you’d like to share? Are you looking to connect your class, campus group, or local organization with meaningful opportunities for civic learning and historical engagement? We welcome students, educators, scholars, and community partners to get involved. Come be part of the ARCH Project and help us bring the past into conversation with the present.

Support the ARCH Project

Your financial support directly enhances the student experience, providing opportunities for hands-on research, public presentations, community engagement, and mentorship from leading scholars and civic leaders. Contributions help students bring their passion for history into classrooms, neighborhoods, and public spaces across San Diego. By supporting the ARCH Project, you are investing in a new generation of informed, engaged citizens who are using the lessons of the past to strengthen their communities today and shape a better future.

Gifts to the ARCH Project can help launch a public speaker series on the enduring legacies of the American Revolution and Constitution. You can also endow student researchers working on essential topics such as freedom of speech, justice and equality, or the role of women in shaping American democracy. Contributions may also support student travel to Washington, D.C., where they can engage directly with historic institutions and national archives.

By investing in these experiences, you help SDSU students bring their passion for history into our communities and become active participants in shaping civic life today.
